To be online is not enough or what else to do to connect with people on LinkedIn?

A few weeks ago, I had an interview with Katia Yakovleva, co-founder of Content Radar (a tool for social networks), and we also discussed how to grow a profile on LinkedIn. Katia has 15,000 connections so she shared some advice. I decided to elaborate on it in this article.

The more fancy job positions at top-notch companies you have (or you are the CEO of a loved company), the more people you attract.

That's how I found Katia. She presented herself on her LinkedIn profile by example (she has a good academic background, a career in a worldwide known company – Spotify, is a multiple angel investor, and many other activities... these lines for describing would not be enough). I naturally wanted to reach out to her.
