I was on Twitter a lot, and enjoyed it. But I've been spending more time on Substack now.

But the method for writing successful posts on Twitter is very useful for Substack notes also📝

And if you don't have a blue check on Twitter you can still post a study thread on Substack 😎

Cool! Are there any learnings from your own experience?

I learned about the effective way to write threads by treating them like a novel, with each thread post having its own subject.

Can you give any examples? If you could demonstrate it on your own postit would be great! :)

Sure😀 here is a link to a thread I wrote about creative energy using Metallica as an example.

Perhaps we should talk about writing on X on a Livestream? To share these ideas broadly with people.

I think Live could be super nice, but maybe after summer? Now it is a silent season because of vacation :D

Yeah we can do it later. I remember from your Discord you have a lot of going on this summer🌞😺

Let me know when you are finished with your travels and would like to talk on a Livestream👌🏾

Do you think Twitter is still worth it, Nika?

I think it is harder to be seen there (since Elon acquired it), they do something with the algorithm a lot, and it is time-consuming to find out what they want. For now, LinkedIn is more relevant to me, but Twitter plays a crucial part for me to get emotional support from other makers (founder life is sometimes lonely) :)

Hi Nika. Have you tried participating in Twitter chats? That’s a great way to build your network, and engagement around your tweets. There definitely aren’t as many as there used to be, but still a few good ones around. I will tweet you a few on Twitter :)

Hey Mack! Do you mean like group chats? Or regular DMs? :)

Group chats, the ones with hashtags. I pinged you on Twitter with a couple of my friends who may have some ideas on good ones to follow.

Thank you, I can see hashtags, but does it mean that I need to use the hashtag when I want to post something there? Or how does it work? Because it feels more dedicated to feed.

Here’s another example: You could create your own chat, say #MarketingWNika and it could be every say Thursday night your time at 7pm. This week you could discuss ways to use Twitter for marketing, discussing the points you made in this article :). It takes a while to get traction, but then again so did Substack, right?

The chats will happen a certain day of the week and a certain time, for one hour. Yes, you will use the hashtag and add it to each tweet. Everyone meets once a week for one hour to discuss a topic related to the hashtag, It’s a great way to expand your network and meet people.
